Are darker skin tones safe to use a laser?
Our most recent, powerful laser hair removal device. Because it offers two wavelengths—a 755 nm wavelength and a 1064 nm wavelength—it is safe for people with darker skin tones. In comparison to other wavelengths, melanin does not absorb 1064 nm, also known as the Nd:YAG wavelength, as well. Because the wavelength doesn't rely on melanin to deposit energy deep into the dermis, it can safely treat ALL skin types. Additionally, because Nd:YAG effectively avoids the epidermis, it is a safe choice for people with dark skin tones.
We allowed the diode laser produced by the laser hair removal device to penetrate the skin's surface based on the selective light absorption hypothesis In order to achieve the goal of hair removal, the wavelength, energy, and pulse width are adjusted. Plenty of melanin is present in the hair follicle and hair shaft, spreading between the follicle matrix and the hair shaft structure. Once the laser energy has been absorbed by the melanin, there will be a sharp increase in temperature, which will cause the tissue surrounding the follicles to be destroyed. The undesirable hair will be entirely eliminated in this manner.
